Daniel Tengelsen

Daniel Tengelsen is a seasoned acoustical researcher currently serving as a Principal Research Engineer at Bose Corporation, where responsibilities have included roles as a Research Engineer and Acoustical Engineer since March 2014. Prior to this position, Daniel worked as a Graduate Student at the Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on the dynamics of microbubbles for applications in medical imaging from August 2010 to February 2014. Early experience includes two internships as a Loudspeaker Engineer at Electrovoice, contributing to numerical graphing routines and directional characteristics verification in audio engineering. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Acoustics from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science in Physics and Astronomy from Brigham Young University, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the same institution.
