Steven Pletcher

Steven Pletcher has over two decades of experience in engineering and systems management, primarily at Bose Corporation since March 2002. As Systems Engineering Manager, Steven leads a team supporting technical delivery for partnerships and licensing efforts while overseeing New Product Quality Engineering to ensure safety and compliance. Prior roles include Systems Group Team Leader, where Steven guided the Systems Design and Engineering teams for consumer and medical devices, and developed innovative plans for next-generation hearing aids. As Architecture Group Team Leader, Steven built and mentored teams that led technical explorations for products like SleepBuds II. Earlier experience as a Systems Design Engineer involved managing product lifecycles and collaborating on lab studies to enhance sleep devices. Steven's career began at ZF Industries as an Engineering Co-op, where foundational skills were developed in equipment validation and process management. Steven holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
