Yang Liu

Yang Liu is an Audio DSP engineer at Bose Corporation since January 2018, specializing in the advanced development of audio DSP algorithms for wearable consumer electronics, including voice capture, hearing augmentation, active noise cancellation, and spatial audio. Previously served as an Acoustical Engineer, leading design efforts for far field voice capture and noise reduction solutions, along with co-drafting project proposals and presenting reviews to stakeholders. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at UMass Dartmouth, where innovative algorithms for radar, sonar, and wireless communication sensor systems were developed, and an Algorithm Development Internship focused on tracking algorithms for animal tracking systems. Yang Liu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and English Literature from Dalian University of Technology.
