Ciro Durán is an accomplished professional in the field of game development and education, with extensive experience as a software engineer, programmer, and organizer. As the founder and organizer of Caracas Game Jam since 2009, Ciro has contributed significantly to the local and global game development community. Current roles include Senior Software Engineer at BossAlien, where work on Star Wars: Hunters was undertaken, and previously as a Tools Programmer at Creative Assembly, focusing on Total War. Ciro has also served on the Executive Committee for The Global Game Jam, was a lecturer at Universidad Católica Andres Bello, and co-founded Open English. Ciro holds a Master of Science in Computer Games and Entertainment from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
