David Robert is a seasoned expert in human-robot interaction (HRI) and product design, currently serving as the Director of HRI at Boston Dynamics since March 2022. With a strong background in leading innovative teams, David previously held the role of Head of Product at Optimus Ride and served as Chief Designer and HRI Scientist at Huawei, where significant educational robots were developed. As a co-founder of The Center for Children's Speculative Design, David was instrumental in shaping ethical AI policies. An extensive career includes mentoring at Harvard University, research at MIT Media Lab, and pivotal positions at notable companies such as Hasbro and 20th Century Fox Blue Sky.
