Lawrence N

Lawrence N is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Boston Dynamics since August 2017, where leadership of cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms for robotic navigation and decision-making has been a key responsibility. Prior to this role, Lawrence served as a Machine Learning Engineer at IBM from January 2010 to December 2016, focusing on the design and implementation of machine learning models for enterprise-level data analysis. Earlier experience includes working as an AI Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 2005 to December 2009, contributing to national AI research projects and developing a novel reinforcement learning algorithm. Lawrence holds an M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Photography from Stanford University and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
