Ellen Gitelman

Ellen Gitelman is an accomplished communications and publicity professional with extensive experience in the arts and culinary sectors. Currently serving as Publicist at the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra since September 2021, Gitelman also holds the position of Communications Manager at the Culinary Guild of New England, where responsibilities include crafting a bi-monthly email newsletter and managing internal communications. As Executive Director and Director of Programming & Marketing at Belmont World Film since 2001, Gitelman has been instrumental in shaping the festival's vision. Gitelman is the Owner of American Graphiti and has held roles such as Director of Publicity for the Woods Hole Film Festival and the Boston Underground Film Festival. Previously, Gitelman was the Director of Marketing at RSM-Metrowest. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and certificates in wine studies and liberal arts in gastronomy from Boston University.
