Andy Starr has a diverse professional background with experience in sales, marketing, and education. Beginning in 2007, they worked in Sales and Marketing at the Boston Showcase Company, where they served as both Sales and Marketing Manager and an individual contributor, building a base of 60 accounts and managing a team of four Account Executives. Andy then worked for Horizon Beverage as a Sales Representative, focused on gaining new accounts and maximizing investment in their products. Starr then worked as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager at Purity.Organic and was responsible for expanding the brand and managing a network of distributors. At Bullhorn, they were an Account Executive, closing 15 deals and achieving 135% of quota during 4 months of active selling, and later, Business Development Manager, leading a team of ten Business Development Representatives. Currently, they are the CEO of the Boston Showcase Company, where they facilitated a complete overhaul of the company strategy, focusing on more profitable private restaurant design projects and supporting the team of Account Executives. Prior to their work in sales and marketing, they also spent time as a Teacher and Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Denver Public Schools.

Andy Starr earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Tufts University in 2005. Andy then attended the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. Additionally, they studied Newspaper Journalism at Syracuse University but it is unclear when they attended. Andy also holds a certification in WSET Level 2 from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
