Tahereh Javaheri is a Scientist at Marengo Therapeutics since August 2022 and serves as a Visiting Scientist at Boston University, starting in 2019. At Boston University, Tahereh led a team to establish an AI-based image classification pipeline, culminating in a publication in npj Nature Digital Medicine in 2021. Previously, between August 2020 and March 2022, Tahereh worked at Gritstone bio, contributing to experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory assays, including T cell expansion and single-cell analysis. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute from 2017 to 2018, Tahereh developed a novel mouse model to study Ewing sarcoma, an incurable pediatric tumor. Earlier experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Associate at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Cancer Research from 2016 to 2017, and completing a PhD in Genetic/Cancer Research while generating mouse models for Ewing Sarcoma at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute from 2010 to 2017.
