Ismail Duyar is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a Master of Science degree in Computational Mechanics from Technische Universität München and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at BOTAŞ Marmara Ereglisi LNG Terminal since March 2012, Ismail has led multiple significant projects including the Jetty Capacity Expansion Project and the Terminal Send-out Capacity Expansion Project as Project Coordinator. Ismail specializes in research and development within the liquefied natural gas industry, focusing on areas such as LNG cold utilization techniques, energy efficiency projects, and cryogenic power generation. Additionally, Ismail is a certified LNG Loading Master, overseeing the safe unloading of LNG from carriers into storage tanks. Prior experience includes an undergraduate thesis at BSH Turkey, which involved the design of an optic control unit system for a welding line.
