Yash Shetye

Yash Shetye is a Robotics Engineer currently employed at BotCrew, where development of an autonomous sandblasting system utilizing a FANUC robot arm is underway, alongside calibration of the Gravion robot's multi-sensor array. Prior experience includes a role as Graduate Research Assistant at New York University, focusing on multi-robot collaborative learning and implementing Vision Transformer models. At Centauri Robotics, Yash pioneered the "Rokr" device and enhanced object detection capabilities, while at Peppermint Robotics, contributions included developing user interfaces and embedded control systems for autonomous floor cleaning robots. Yash holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering.
