Botetourt County, founded in 1770, is located in the southwestern portion of the state in the scenic Roanoke Valley of Virginia and combines three incorporated towns - Buchanan, Fincastle, and Troutville. 

Botetourt County is approximately 548 square miles, with a population of over 33,423. Strategically located on Interstate 81 and just 20 miles to Interstate 64, Botetourt County is accessible to the markets of the Mid-West and the East.

The County offers American history blended with nature and modern attractions. View rolling hills, miles of hiking trails, scenic rivers, streams, and historic towns, all surrounded by a majestic mountain backdrop.
