Kyubi Yang is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Project/Process Engineer at Bothwell Engineering Inc. since June 2025. Prior to this role, Kyubi worked at Moderna from September 2021 to May 2025 as a Validation Engineer II and Validation Engineer I. Before that, Kyubi gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Trinkaus-Randall's optogenetics lab at BOSTON UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER from October 2019 to August 2020. Kyubi holds a Master’s of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, both from Boston University. Kyubi's foundational education includes studies at Fairmont Preparatory Academy and St. Stephen's Episcopal School.
