Momo W. has a long and diverse work experience. Momo began their career in 2010 as a Business Analyst at Taiwan Global Biofund, where they represented the board of directors, managed post-investment firms, and structured licensing contracts. In 2011, they co-founded the Startup Leadership Program, collaborating with a team of 10+ to set up the Taipei branch and facilitating exchanges between VCs, key opinion leaders, and entrepreneurs. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at McKinsey & Company, where they were a Junior Engagement Manager in the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice and Pharmaceutical and Medical Product practice. During this time, they focused on strategy work with leading Pharma and Medtech companies. In 2019, they became an Investor at EQRx, a Board Observer at Thrive, An Exact Sciences Company, a Director at Emerson Collective, and an Investment Manager at the same company. In 2020, they were a Board Member at TigaTx, and in 2021, they became a Board Member at Walking Fish Therapeutics, Inc. Most recently, in 2022, Momo W. began working as the Chief Business Development Officer at Botrista Technology, Inc.
Momo W. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from National Taiwan University between 2006 and 2010. Momo also obtained an Accounting and Business Management certification from the same institution in October 2010. Momo then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenetics from the University of California, San Francisco, which they completed in 2017.
