Derek Leonard

Derek Leonard is a seasoned professional in grants and proposals, currently serving as the Director of Grants and Proposals at Bottom Line, a position held since November 2017, after previously holding the role of Manager in the same department. Prior to this, Derek worked as an Enrollment & Retention Specialist at the Philadelphia Youth Network, where implementation of a text message campaign for youth summer job enrollment was overseen. From November 2011 to September 2016, Derek contributed to the John Templeton Foundation in various capacities, starting as a Research Assistant and advancing to Officer of Planning & Evaluation, overseeing evaluation report production and managing bibliometric projects. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Brandeis University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Messiah University.
