Boulder MRI features the GE Discovery 3.0T magnet housed with a 70 cm wide and short bore gantry (the opening size of the magnet). Our tube gantry has a wider and shorter configuration than most other MR systems. This redesign and customization offers our patients maximum ergonomic comfort. The surface of the MRI table is uniquely wider and free of pressure points. The combination of bright inner lighting and a flared entryway make for a relaxed MRI setting!

Our 3.0T magnet has the advantage of increased magnet strength over other MRI facilities, resulting in a brand new level of diagnostic capability. An efficient and high resolution console monitor is mounted directly above the magnet making operation straight forward and effective. Extraordinary image resolution, real time scan data, detailed patient information, and routine system software updates are incorporated into the exam experience allowing for prompt analysis and diagnosis.
