Sean Monteiro

Sean Monteiro is the Founder & CEO of Bounced Inc., a payment platform that facilitates event ticketing and P2P payments through a mobile and web app. Sean is also a Partner at Day by Day Ventures and an ODF Fellow at On Deck, a program for early-stage founders. Sean has been a Fellow at The Cansbridge Fellowship and a Next 36 Entrepreneur in the 2020 Cohort. Sean has also served as a G20 Canadian Delegate for the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance. Sean has experience as part of the Investment Team at Front Row Ventures, a student-run venture capital fund. Sean has worked as a Nordic Strategy & City Manager at Circ, overseeing operations and leading growth initiatives. Sean has also held various roles at General Motors, including in Corporate Strategy + Innovation and Open Innovation. Sean has worked as an Innovation Advisor at VIA Rail Canada, focusing on improving ticket sales and brand image.

Sean Monteiro received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biomechanical/Materials Mechanical Engineering with a Professional Internship from Queen's University. Sean also holds additional certifications in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies from Harvard Business School Online, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from General Motors, and Venture Capital from the CFA Institute.
