Edward Kearney

Edward Kearney is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader with a diverse background in transportation, technology, and education. As the Founder and CEO of Valo since July 2018, Edward focuses on revolutionizing transportation through hydrofoil technology. Concurrently, Edward serves as an Advisor and Co-founder of Snappr Inc., a Y Combinator-backed marketplace for on-demand professional photography. Edward co-founded GownTown Pty Ltd, where as COO, the mission was to enhance the graduation experience for students in Australia. With a strong foundation in marketing and project management from previous roles, including as a Marketing Strategist and Creative Director for various organizations, Edward has contributed significantly to both the private and public sectors. Edward holds a Masters by Research and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of New South Wales, alongside certifications in naval architecture from Lloyd's Maritime Academy.
