Joan Chen

Joan Chen, Ph.D., currently serves as the Executive Director of Bioinformatics at Boundless Bio since February 2023, after holding the position of Senior Director of Bioinformatics at Turning Point Therapeutics from May 2021 to February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Bioinformatics at Certis Oncology Solutions, Inc. and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc. Additionally, Joan Chen has held academic positions such as Lecturer in the Biology Department at San Diego State University and has extensive experience in bioinformatics research from roles at Verenium and Torrey Mesa Research Institute. Joan Chen earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Fudan University.
