Michael Bertino

While attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo studying Aerospace Engineering, Michael joined a small satellite startup called Stellar Exploration. His first major program was working on a team designing and building Lightsail-1 and Lightsail-2, two experimental 3U CubeSats. Michael then led three major satellite missions, the first 6U CubeSats in orbit (AIS comms satellites), 6U imaging satellites and 16U imaging satellites. Seeing the need for streamlined analytics for all the imagery being produced by the new space industry, Michael joined two co-workers, Tom and Megan, in starting Bountiful. Michael currently leads the product team on developing innovative tools for the agricultural industry.
