Oleksandr AMELKOV has extensive work experience as a Chief Engineer on various vessels. Oleksandr worked for Bourbon as a Chief Engineer on the BOURBON DIAMOND, a DP2 large platform supply vessel. Oleksandr also worked for Bourbon as a Chief Engineer on the GPA 670 PSV, a diesel electric vessel. Oleksandr served as a Chief Engineer for POSH Saudi Co. Ltd. on a Multi-Purpose Platform Supply Vessel. Oleksandr worked as a Chief Engineer for BASS GLOBAL MARINE SERVICES on an AHTS DP2 anchor handling tug supply vessel. Additionally, Oleksandr served as a Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on different vessels for Bourbon, Tidewater Marine, URS-Ocean Towage, International Cruises, Hebridean Cruises, and Black Sea Shipyard.

Oleksandr AMELKOV completed their education in two different institutions. From 1992 to 1996, they attended Black Sea Shipyard and obtained a degree as a 5th class welder, specializing in Ships Welding through ARC and Gas welding techniques. Later on, from 2002 to 2014, they pursued their education at ONMA, where they earned a degree as an Expert of Engineering in the field of Marine Engineering.
