Catherine Olson

Catherine Olson is an experienced educator with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Classroom Teacher at Bourne Middle School since September 2015, Catherine teaches 6th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. Prior to this role, Catherine worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher and a Substitute Teacher for Bourne Public Schools from August 2007 to 2015. Catherine's earlier experience includes teaching elementary grades at Fairfax County Public Schools from August 1988 to July 1996, where responsibilities included curriculum development, technology integration, and leading professional development workshops. Catherine holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Marymount University and a Bachelor's Degree in French Studies from Connecticut College.
