Steve Karl

Steve Karl, PE, has over 30 years of experience in civil and structural design, assessment, construction management, and project management, focusing on renewable solar facilities and infrastructure projects across the United States. They have managed structural condition inspections for over 3,000 facilities and have served as construction manager on multi-million dollar projects, including solar farms and educational facilities. Additionally, Steve served as the President of the Board of School Directors for eight years, overseeing a $20+ million budget and the management of extensive educational facilities. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Project Manager and Civil Engineer at Bowman Consulting. Steve earned a BSCET in Structural Design and Construction Engineering followed by graduate studies in Engineering at Penn State University.
