Tim Johnson

Tim Johnson, PLA, LEED AP, is a seasoned professional in landscape architecture with over 20 years of specialized experience in various areas, including site planning, urban design, and historic landscape preservation. Currently serving as the Practice Lead for Landscape Architecture at Bowman Consulting since May 2022, Johnson previously owned JStudio LA, LLC from April 2018 to June 2022. Prior roles include Principal at The Planning Center, where oversight of landscape architecture and community planning was key, and positions at Novak Environmental and Land Patterns, Inc. as a Landscape Architect. Early career experience included an internship with the National Park Service focused on historical landscape preservation. Johnson holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from Utah State University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Arizona State University.
