Bryan Larsen

Bryan Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bryan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Bowtie since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Kubernetes & Rust Contractor for Threekit & Others from July 2021 to October 2022.

From December 2012 to July 2021, Bryan worked at ThreeKit as an SRE/DevOps Lead. Additionally, they co-founded Figure of Eight in July 2014 and served as a co-founder until December 2017.

Before that, Bryan worked as a Subcontractor at Barquin Solutions, LLC from April 2009 to December 2012, where they were the Lead maintainer for the Hobo open-source project and developed several Hobo/Ruby on Rails websites.

In their earlier career, Bryan worked as a Consultant at Ingnenius for a brief period from June 2008 to November 2008. Bryan also held the position of Sr Software Engineer at Lumenera from 2002 to 2006.

Furthermore, Bryan worked as a Software Engineer at Analog Design Automation from 1999 to 2002, where they were responsible for a parts library implementation and Cadence integration. Bryan also held the role of Software Engineer at Vitana Corporation from 1998 to 1999.

Lastly, Bryan started their career as a Junior Hardware Engineer at Newbridge Networks from 1997 to 1998.

Bryan Larsen attended the University of Regina from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with Distinction in Electronic Systems Engineering.
