Andrew Schmidt

Andrew Schmidt is a seasoned Unified Communication Engineer with extensive experience in managing and supporting audiovisual and videoconferencing technologies. Currently serving at Box, Andrew oversees the Slack Enterprise Grid Product and Zoom Cloud, while also focusing on UC/AV systems design. Prior roles include significant contributions at Cirrus Logic and Silicon Labs, where Andrew managed and designed telephony environments and supported large-scale events. Andrew's background in audio visual support began at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and continued through various technician positions, providing a solid foundation in multimedia production and conference room technology. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin.
