Gavin Hood

Gavin Hood is an experienced professional with a strong background in education and technology. Currently serving as Partner Enablement Manager at Box since September 2021, Gavin has also held positions as Customer Education Consultant and Customer Education Associate within the same company. Prior to Box, Gavin worked as a Content Design Intern at Cirrus Logic for a brief period. Extensive experience as a Science Teacher and Department Head at Georgetown Independent School District spanned nearly three years, following a role as a Science Teacher at Austin Independent School District. Gavin's early career included a position as a PV Design Consultant at Longhorn Solar, Inc. and a role as a Life Scientist with the US Environmental Protection Agency. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from St. Edward's University, a UX Design certification from CareerFoundry, and a teaching certification in Science from Region 13 - Education Service Center.
