Karishma Sureka

Karishma Sureka is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in identity and security solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager and Technical Lead Manager at Box since October 2020, Karishma focuses on the Identity and Security Foundation, leading initiatives in multifactor authentication, single sign-on, and high-throughput microservices. Previously at Salesforce from February 2017 to October 2020, Karishma played a key role in developing and enhancing features such as Compliant Data Sharing for Salesforce Industries and creating an orchestration framework for Action Plans. Karishma's career began with internships at various companies, including Cisco Systems, eBay Inc., and Intuit, building a robust foundation in software engineering through hands-on experience in diverse programming languages and technologies. Karishma holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PES University.
