Austin Oehlerking has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Austin is the Founder and CEO of Boxbot since 2017. Previously, they worked at Tesla Motors as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they were a Graduate Researcher at MIT's Field Intelligence Lab from 2010 to 2011. Austin also served as the Director of Vehicle Engineering at Arcimoto Electric Vehicles from 2009 to 2010. Austin co-founded SharpEdge Studios in 2005 and worked there until 2008. Austin began their career as an intern at Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems in 2004.

Austin Oehlerking's education history begins in 2004 when they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science (SB) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a specialization in Finance in 2008.
