Peter Spaulding

VP, Finance & Admin at BoxCast

Peter Spaulding is the current VP of Finance & Admin at BoxCast. Prior to joining BoxCast, Peter was a Venture for America Fellow from June 2013 to July 2015. Venture for America is a program for young graduates to spend two years in the trenches of a startup with the goal that they will become socialized and mobilized as entrepreneurs moving forward. Venture for America selected Peter after they graduated college, provided training and mentorship, and placed him at a partner startup to help build the organization.

Before their time with Venture for America, Peter was an Executive Operations Intern at ThinkCorp from June 2012 to August 2012. During their time at ThinkCorp, Peter developed essential elements of foundational legal, tax, and corporate documents for the non-profit arm of ThinkCorp, forecasted a 5-year financial projection and budget for the non-profit based on analysis of the current profit and loss statement of the for-profit budget in order to construct a systematic fundraising plan, and developed a plan for work-study integration in five Universities and thirty area high schools in key regions across the country. Additionally, Peter designed wireframe mockups for internal administrative software.

Peter's experience in finance, administration, and project management has been essential in their role at BoxCast. Peter's ability to think strategically and problem solve has allowed him to excel in their current position.

Peter Spaulding has a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
