Dan Mchugh

Dan Mchugh is the Chair at BoxLock. Dan has also served as the Compensation Committee Chairman at American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) and as a member of the Compensation Committee Board at Mesa Airlines, Inc. In addition, they have been a member of the Governance Committee Board at Amports Inc. and the Chief Executive Officer at Livingston International.

Mchugh has been in the transportation industry for over 20 years. Dan began their career as President and Chief Executive Officer at Southern Air Inc. before moving on to become the CEO Asia Pacific at DHL Express. In this role, they were responsible for $4B in revenue and 33,000 employees in 41 countries. Dan also sat on the DHL Global Express Board and chaired the Asia Pacific Management Board.

After their time at DHL Express, Mchugh became an advisor at Vietnam Partners LLC. Dan then returned to APL to serve as President Asia Middle East. In this role, they oversaw APL’s operations in Asia and the Middle East.

Most recently, Mchugh has been serving as President Latin America and VP of Yield Management at Sealand Service. In this role, they are responsible for Sealand’s operations in Latin America.

Dan Mchugh attended Duke University for their MBA in International Business from 1995 to 1997. Dan also attended Loras College where they studied Business Administration and English Literature from 1975 to 1979.
