Derek Wei is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and private investment. Currently serving as Vice President at Boyu Capital since October 2018, Derek previously held roles at Credit Suisse specializing in Consumer Retail and Healthcare, and at J.P. Morgan with a focus on Financial Institutions Group, particularly in Greater China FIG M&As and Fintech transactions. Earlier career experiences include positions in private investment at DUMAC, Inc., and various investment banking roles at J.P. Morgan and MD Global Partners, LLC, with a focus on restructuring and distressed M&A. Derek Wei holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University.
