Adil Abbasov

Adil Abbasov is the BP AGT Midstream Production Chemistry Discipline Lead, providing technical support and managing contractor relations on production chemistry and flow assurance issues. They previously held positions including Sr Production Chemist and Production Chemistry Team Leader at BP, where they developed chemical management strategies and led various initiatives. Adil's career also includes roles as a Production Chemist at Champion Technologies and Project Coordinator at JICA, where they contributed to significant mapping projects. Adil earned a PhD student designation in physical chemistry from the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and is a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
