Ahmed Afifi

Ahmed Afifi is a well-rounded integrated geologist with 12 years of petroleum exploration and development experience. Currently serving as the Gulf of America and Canada Exploration Team Leader at bp, they have a proven exploration track record across various basin types both onshore and offshore. Ahmed's background includes roles at BP Egypt and BP America, where they contributed to exploration, appraisal, and production projects in diverse regions including the Gulf of Mexico and the Nile Delta. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Ain Shams University.
