Alan Edwards is currently the Vice President of Audit - Operations at bp, where they engage internal stakeholders to deliver impactful audits on bp’s system of internal controls. Previously, Alan served as Project General Manager for various projects in Angola, Mauritania, and Senegal, focusing on subsea developments and complex major projects. With a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Liverpool, Alan is a Chartered Engineer and has a proven track record in managing diverse teams and stakeholders across the oil and gas industry. Their extensive experience includes roles as Project Manager and Subsea Engineering Manager, where they contributed to significant projects across Europe and Azerbaijan.
