ALISTAIR BENT

Alistair Bent is a retired geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, having held various leadership roles at BP from 1990 to 2015. Alistair began their career at BP Exploration and Production, advancing to positions such as Senior Geologist and later as Exploration Manager, overseeing BP's exploration activities in Russia and India. With a PhD in Geology from The University of Edinburgh and a Jt Hons degree from Liverpool University, Alistair has contributed to significant projects, including the Angola Block 31 Deepwater Appraisal.
