Amanda Schott has extensive experience in process safety and engineering, currently serving as a Process Safety Advisor (Compliance) at bp since February 2012, where previous roles included Wells Process Safety Engineer and Upstream Engineering- Process Safety Engineer. Prior to joining bp, Amanda worked at The Dow Chemical Company from 2007 to February 2012 as a Production Engineer, managing plant operations and mechanical reliability, and as a Process Automation Engineer. Amanda's career in the industry began with an internship at bp in 2006, where modeling of gas and water gathering systems was conducted. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earned in 2007.
