Anar Mehdiyev

Anar Mehdiyev is a seasoned sustainability, environment, and compliance professional with over 20 years of experience in the oil and energy industry. They have worked as a Senior Compliance and Carbon Adviser at bp since 2023, following various roles at bp, including Environmental Adviser and Compliance and Environment Adviser. Anar previously served as an HSE Administrator and Environmental Assistant at McDermott International Inc. They hold a Master's degree in Economics and Management in Industry and Industrial Services from Azerbaijan State Economic University, as well as multiple advanced degrees in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University in Budapest and Vienna.
