Andreas Osbar

Andreas Osbar is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the lubricants and energy sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of Castrol Americas at bp since July 2012, with accountability for the P&L of the Castrol business across the Americas. Osbar has held several key positions within bp, including VP Transformation Castrol Lubricants, where strategic initiatives were developed to achieve significant profit growth, and Member of the Management Board for BP Europa SE. Prior roles include C&P Transformation Director, where leadership was provided for M&A opportunities, and Sales Director positions, overseeing significant turnover and transformative programs. Osbar also served as Non-Executive Director at AVISTA OIL AG and Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn.
