Andrew Child

Andrew Child is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Tax Manager - Downstream at BP from 2004 to the present. Responsibilities include supervising the preparation of 140 subsidiary federal tax returns for BP America, Inc., managing FAS 109 calculations, and preparing detailed IRS responses, while leading a team of five. Previously, as a Senior Tax Analyst at BP, Andrew implemented major process improvements in FAS 109 provisioning, enhancing accuracy and reducing risk. Before joining BP, Andrew held the position of Senior Tax Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where client engagement and tax law research were key functions, and began a career in sales as a top associate at RC Willey Home Furnishings. Andrew holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
