Anthony Tate has extensive experience in process safety and engineering, currently serving as a Process Safety Advisor with bp since February 2012, contributing to the Group Process Safety Team. Prior roles at bp include Process Safety Lead Engineer, Site Process Safety Lead, and Lead Chemical/Project Engineer within the Acetyls Research Group, where Anthony managed multidiscipline engineering teams and oversaw change control and planned maintenance for pilot plants. Prior to bp, Anthony worked at GSK as a Senior Process/Project Engineer, and held positions as Project Engineer at Contract Chemicals Ltd and Process Engineer at Albright & Wilson PLC. Anthony began a career in research at Exxon and holds a degree in chemical engineering from Loughborough University.
