Arturo Silva

Arturo Silva is a seasoned communications and policy professional with over 25 years of experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Corporate Research & Policy Analysis Manager for bp since October 2011, Arturo plays a key role in the policy advocacy and federal government affairs team, providing essential research and implementing government affairs priorities. Prior experience includes ownership of Emery Silva Strategies, delivering consulting services to diverse clients, and serving as Senior Communications Director at PhRMA, where Arturo acted as a liaison to Fortune 500 companies and served as a media spokesman. Additionally, experience with the U.S. House of Representatives included serving as a communications aide for three Congressional Committees, notably assisting in media coverage of high-profile investigations. Arturo began the career at The National Center for Public Policy Research as a Project 21 Coordinator. Arturo holds a BA in American Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
