Ayush R. has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily in data science and machine learning roles. Currently serving as AI/ML and Data Science Team Lead at bp since August 2019, Ayush has developed applications that enhanced well performance and optimized cost management for salt-water disposal wells, achieving significant financial savings. Previous roles include positions as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at bp, as well as experience as a Data Science Intern, where predictive modeling and hydraulic fracturing analysis were conducted. Prior internships at Liberty Oilfield Services involved developing advanced machine learning models and monitoring hydraulic fracturing jobs. Ayush began a career as a Petroleum Engineering Consultant at Neal Adams Services and held a production internship at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, along with a Master’s degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s degree from Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
