Barrett Barr

Barrett Barr currently serves in Global Business Development for Novel Feedstocks at bp since April 2024. Prior to this role, Barrett held the position of Head of Global Business Development for Seeds at Syngenta starting in February 2021, where responsibilities included building collaborations and leading M&A activities that support the business strategy and promote regenerative practices on farms. Barrett's extensive experience at John Deere from 2006 to 2020 encompassed various strategic roles, including Corporate Strategy Lead for Data & Machine Technology Solutions and Advanced Technology, Manager of Corporate Strategy, and Manager of Market Economics. Barrett's educational background includes an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, an Executive MBA from Kellogg-HKUST, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Iowa State University.
