Ben Lopez is a Senior Mechanical Engineer currently focused on North Sea Production Operations at bp, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they contributed to the GTA Project as a Maintenance Specialist and served in various engineering capacities at bp from 2017 to 2022, including GOM Production Operations and Drilling Rig Systems. Ben began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at HP from 2004 to 2005. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 and are currently attending Austin High School.
