Benedict Robbins

Benedict Robbins is a geohazard specialist at BP, specializing in offshore wind geosciences and contributing to the development of ground models for project assessment through all stages of design, construction, and operation. In addition, Benedict serves as an advisor on the GeolSoc Early Careers Industry Panel, focused on connecting students and early career geoscientists with industry professionals. Previous experience includes roles as a senior geoscience consultant at ERM, where responsibilities encompassed CO2 Measurement, Monitoring & Verification, and project management, as well as positions at Fugro that involved seismic inversion and product ownership in marine geophysics. Early career experience includes a seismic processing trainee role at the British Geological Survey. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Carbon Capture and Storage and a BSc (Hons) in Geophysics with Geology, both from the University of Edinburgh.
