Bogdan Batrinca

Bogdan Batrinca is a Senior Data Engineer and Data Scientist, currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at bp and Honorary Research Associate at University College London (UCL), where they focus on federated learning, differential privacy, and algorithmic regulation. With extensive experience in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and data services at Bloomberg, Bogdan has led data science teams and automated data pipelines, applying computational statistics and machine learning to enhance financial systems. They hold a PhD in Computer Science (Financial Computing) from UCL, where their research involved collaboration with Deutsche Bank on financial time-series forecasting.
