Brian Bentson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry and data analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Product Analyst at bp since April 2022, Brian previously held roles as an Oil & Gas Data Engineer at DATAGRATION and a Data Scientist at HIT Investments, where a comprehensive financial analytics solution was developed to evaluate over 20,000 stocks. Brian's expertise also includes a tenure at Exxon, where leadership involved managing teams to enhance equipment maintenance through digital analytics and improving procurement operations. Prior experience at XTO Energy encompassed risk assessment and optimization of production across numerous wells. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Data Science certificate from Flatiron School.
