Carl Hanford

Carl Hanford is a Senior Commercial Leader currently leading the Contracts & Commercial team at BP’s Iraq-Rumaila business, where they oversee the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process, commercial strategy, and awards governance. Carl also heads the Modernisation & Transformation programme. With a background that includes roles in the Finance Function and a previous position as Project Manager for BP’s global culture change programme, Carl has developed a robust understanding of leadership and risk management. Carl holds a Master of Business Administration from London Business School and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, and has qualified as MCIPS.
