Catherine Sylvain

Catherine Sylvain is currently the Representative Director and Head of Power Trading and Origination in Japan at bp, where they focus on leading power trading initiatives. Previously, Catherine held roles as a Biofuels Originator and Integrated Supply & Trading Project Manager at bp, and was a management consultant with Oliver Wyman and Seabury Group. Catherine earned an MBA from INSEAD, where they also served as Co-President of the INSEAD Women in Business and Ladies' Captain of the Rugby Football Club. Their early career included a position as a Junior Engineer at Air Liquide Canada, optimizing plant production across all Canadian facilities. Catherine is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University.
